Enlarged prostate (BPH) can cause frequent urination, weak stream, or difficulty emptying the bladder. We offer in-office therapies like UroLift® and Rezūm™, as well as surgical options such as Aquablation therapy or Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP) when necessary. We also provide prostate cancer screening, including PSA tests and digital rectal exams, to help catch issues early.

Aquablation therapy is unique in its use of real-time, ultrasound-guided, robotic-assisted waterjet technology, allowing surgeons to create a personalized treatment plan that precisely targets which prostate tissue to remove and which to preserve. With this tailored approach, the system accurately removes problematic tissue while safeguarding critical anatomy.

Rezūm therapy uses controlled bursts of water vapor (steam) to ablate excess prostate tissue, shrinking the gland and relieving urinary symptoms. The procedure is done through the urethra without incisions and typically takes less than 30 minutes. It preserves sexual function and allows many patients to stop BPH medications. While results may take a few weeks to appear, benefits often last for several years.
TURP is a surgical procedure where a resectoscope is inserted through the urethra to remove obstructive prostate tissue using an electric loop. It’s considered the gold standard for treating severe BPH symptoms, especially when medications fail. Patients usually notice rapid improvement in urinary flow, though recovery may take several weeks and risks include retrograde ejaculation or temporary incontinence. TURP is best suited for men with significant prostate enlargement or complications like bladder damage.
UroLift is a minimally invasive procedure that treats BPH by placing tiny implants to lift and hold enlarged prostate tissue away from the urethra, improving urine flow. It does not involve cutting or removing tissue, which helps preserve sexual function and reduces recovery time. Most patients experience symptom relief within weeks and can avoid long-term medication. It’s ideal for men with moderate symptoms who want a quick, outpatient solution.
